Chromatic roots are dense in the whole complex plane [PDF]
I show that the zeros of the chromatic polynomials P_G(q) for the generalized theta graphs \Theta^{(s,p)} are, taken together, dense in the whole complex plane with the possible exception of the disc |q-1| < 1.

Partition function zeros of the Q-state Potts model on the simple-cubic lattice
The $Q$-state Potts model on the simple-cubic lattice is studied using the zeros of the exact partition function on a finite lattice. The critical behavior of the model in the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic phases is discussed based on the ...

Zeros of the Partition Function for Higher--Spin 2D Ising Models [PDF]
We present calculations of the complex-temperature zeros of the partition functions for 2D Ising models on the square lattice with spin $s=1$, 3/2, and 2.

Complex replica zeros of ±JIsing spin glass at zero temperature [PDF]
Zeros of the $n$th moment of the partition function $[Z^n]$ are investigated in a vanishing temperature limit $ \to \infty$, $n \to 0$ keeping $y= n \sim O(1)$. In this limit, the moment parameterized by $y$ characterizes the distribution of the ground-state energy. We numerically investigate the zeros for $\pm J$ Ising spin glass models with several

ABSTRACT Background Chronic kidney disease is a growing public health problem worldwide, and the number of patients requiring renal replacement therapy is steadily increasing. Türkiye has experienced a similar rise in both the incidence and prevalence of renal replacement therapy over the past decades; however, national‐level projections of future ...

Quantum graphs whose spectra mimic the zeros of the Riemann zeta function [PDF]
One of the most famous problems in mathematics is the Riemann hypothesis: that the non-trivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function lie on a line in the complex plane.

Hematopoietic (stem) cells—The elixir of life?
The aging of HSCs (hematopoietic stem cells) and the blood system leads to the decline of other organs. Rejuvenating aged HSCs improves the function of the blood system, slowing the aging of the heart, kidney, brain, and liver, and the occurrence of age‐related diseases.

In this work, it is reported that the interference pattern produced by an interferometer can be studied on the s-plane and its modulated function having three poles and two zeros over the imaginary axis.
