This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Assembly theory and its relationship with computational complexity
Assembly theory (AT) quantifies selection using the assembly equation, identifying complex objects through the assembly index, the minimal steps required to build an object from basic parts, and copy number, the observed instances of the object.

On the complexity of braids [PDF]
We define a measure of "complexity" of a braid which is natural with respect to both an algebraic and a geometric point of view. Algebraically, we modify the standard notion of the length of a braid by introducing generators $\Delta\_{ij}$, which are ...

Modeling and Analyzing Multi-Factor Balanced Feedback System Based on Petri Net
Process control systems typically comprise multiple variables that impact system parameters, interacting and constraining each other with the objective of maintaining parameters within a specified range to ensure dynamic equilibrium.

This work demonstrates the successful integration of a phenanthroline‐based 2D COF with MnI catalytic sites into a catholyte‐free membrane‐electrode‐assembly cell for CO2 electroreduction. The crystalline COF actively suppresses Mn⁰–Mn⁰ dimerization, achieving a turnover frequency of 617 h⁻¹ at 2.8 V (full‐cell potential), and enabling stable operation.

Von Neumann Entropy Penalization and Low Rank Matrix Estimation [PDF]
A problem of statistical estimation of a Hermitian nonnegatively definite matrix of unit trace (for instance, a density matrix in quantum state tomography) is studied.

Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

On the complexity of proof deskolemization
AbstractWe consider the following problem: Given a proof of the Skolemization of a formulaF, what is the length of the shortest proof ofF? For the restriction of this question to cut-free proofs we prove corresponding exponential upper and lower bounds.

Demonstration of an All‐Optical AND Gate Mediated by Photochromic Molecules
A logic AND gate that runs on photons is demonstrated. It relies on two spatially separated photochromic molecules that work in tandem. Abstract The realization of a photonic logic AND gate, i.e. a logic AND gate that runs on photons rather than electrons, and where all steps are controlled by light, is demonstrated. In a proof‐of‐principle experiment,
