Polarization Sensitivity of Chiral Manganese Halide Scintillators Enables High‐Resolution X‐Ray Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Highly luminescent chiral manganese halide crystals are synthesized using chiral ligands, and they exhibit dissymmetry factors up to 1.4 × 10−2 and show X‐ray detection scintillation capability with a light yield of 43 380 photons/MeV and a low detection limit of 0.05198 µGyair·s−1.

Comparison of Conventional RCC Columns, Steel Columns and Composite Columns

Journal of Structural Engineering and Management, 2023
Worldwide, the steel industry is expanding almost everywhere. Compared to the USA, EU, and other developed nations, India uses less steel in the construction industry. Additionally, India's cities have some of the highest population densities per square kilometre, which limits horizontal construction growth and favours vertical development.

Comparison of steel-concrete composite column and steel column

Composite Structures, 2018
Abstract The aim of the work was numerical analyses of a steel-concrete composite column and a steel column. An internal column 3.60 m in length was considered. The column was on the second storey of a six-storey building designed for retail and services. The column was subjected to compression and uniaxial bending. The existing steel column was made
