Ceramic composite liner material for gas turbine combustors [PDF]
Advanced commercial and military gas turbine engines may operate at combustor outlet temperatures in excess of 1920 K (3000 F). At these temperatures combustors liners experience extreme convective and radiative heat fluxes. The ability of a plasma sprayed ceramic coating to reduce liner metal temperature has been recognized.

A closer view of the radio-FIR correlation: disentangling the contributions of star formation and AGN activity [PDF]
We extend the Unified Radio Catalog, a catalog of sources detected by various (NVSS, FIRST, WENSS, GB6) radio surveys, and SDSS, to IR wavelengths by matching it to the IRAS Point and Faint Source catalogs.

Spectroscopic aperture biases in inside-out evolving early-type galaxies from CALIFA [PDF]
Integral field spectroscopy studies based on CALIFA data have recently revealed the presence of ongoing low-level star formation (SF) in the periphery of ~10% of local early-type galaxies (ETGs), witnessing a still ongoing inside-out galaxy growth ...

Damage of a New Shaped Warhead to Water-Containing Composite Structure
In order to improve the penetration capability of the shaped charge warhead to the water-containing composite structure, a truncated cone-sphere combined liner was designed, and its jet forming motion law in the water medium and the damage performance to

We study how star formation (SF) is quenched in low-redshift disk galaxies with integral-field spectroscopy. We select 131 face-on spiral galaxies with stellar mass greater than $\rm 3\times10^{10}M_\odot$, and with spatially resolved spectrum from MaNGA

Shocked POststarbust Galaxy Survey I: Candidate Poststarbust Galaxies with Emission Line Ratios Consistent with Shocks [PDF]
[Abridged] The Shocked POststarburst Galaxy Survey (SPOGS) aims to identify transforming galaxies, in which the nebular lines are excited via shocks instead of through star formation processes.
