Relaxation phenomenon in composite materials
The European Physical Journal Applied Physics, 1998Dielectric measurement characteristics such as the dissipation factor, relative permittivity and conductivity as a function of temperature and frequency have been achieved on composite materials based on different epoxy resins filled with alumina inclusions. The analysis of the results show the presence of porosity and inhomogeneity in these materials.

Carbon-based composite materials for supercapacitor electrodes: a review
, 2017Electrochemical capacitors, so-called supercapacitors, play an important role in energy storage and conversion systems. In the last decade, with the increasing volume of scientific activity and publications in this field, researchers have developed ...

Failure of Composite Materials
Strain, 2007Abstract: An overview is given of the state of the art of theories and procedures for predicting and analysing failure in composite materials. Of the scores of failure theories available, only those representative of each of the following categories are discussed: limit or noninteractive, interactive, and failure mode‐based theories.

Introduction To Composite Materials
1987The combination of materials to form a new material system with enhanced material properties is a well documented historical fact. For example, the ancient Jewish workers during their tenure under the Pharaohs used chopped straws in bricks as a means of enhancing their structural integrity.
