Erosive burning of composite solid propellants

Combustion and Flame, 1966
A model is proposed for erosive burning of ammonium perchlorate composite wolid propellants. It is assumed that combustion takes place in the turbulent boundary layer and that the turbulent flame consists of distorted ‘flamelets’ but otherwise retains on a molecular scale the characteristics of a laminar flame.
