Proceedings of the 1st ACM international workshop on Events in multimedia, 2009
Events are at least as important as objects in modeling the dynamic universe. Modeling the real world and weaving the web of events require Composite Events that are valid constitution of atomic and composite sub-events. The progress in event composition has been limited to construction of some entities and relationships in upper ontologies such as ...

Essential Norms of Composition Operators
Integral Equations and Operator Theory, 2004Recently, there has been considerable interest in studying lower and upper estimates for the essential norms of composition operators in function spaces. Sometimes, as a consequence, a necessary and sufficient condition for the composition operator to be compact on the function space can be obtained.

Eigenvalues of Adjoints of Certain Composition Operators and Weighted Composition Operators
Integral Equations and Operator Theory, 2014The paper is concerned with the spectral theory of composition operators on the Hardy space \(H^2\) of the unit disk. The author proves that, under certain conditions on the symbol \(\varphi \) (involving in particular fixed points), the point-spectrum of the adjoint \(C_\varphi^*\) of \(C_\varphi\) contains a disk centered at the origin.

GEOMETRIC QUANTITIES OF COMPOSITION OPERATORS
Far East Journal of Mathematical Sciences (FJMS), 2017Summary: In this paper, we investigate geometric quantities of composition operators associated with various subclasses of univalent functions in the unit disk. We also consider applications of the quantities.

Operator regularization and composite operators
Canadian Journal of Physics, 1990We demonstrate how operator regularization can be used to compute radiative corrections to Green's functions involving composite operators. No divergences are encountered and no symmetry-breaking regulating parameter need be introduced into the initial Lagrangian.

Composition operators on potential spaces
Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1992By a result of B. Dahlberg, the composition operators T H f = H ∘ f {T_H}f = H \circ f need not be bounded on some of the Sobolev spaces (or spaces of Bessel potentials) even for very smooth functions H = H

ON P-HYPONORMAL COMPOSITION OPERATORS
Universal Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2020Summary: In this paper, we introduce P-hyponormal composition operators on \(L^2\)-spaces and study some of their properties. We show that Fuglede-Putnam's (briefly FP) theorem holds for P-hyponormal and P-hyponormal composition operators.

Analytic Toeplitz and Composition Operators
Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1972This paper is a continuation of [1] where we began the study of intertwining analytic Toeplitz operators. Recall that X intertwines two operators A and B if XA = BX. Let H2 be the Hilbert space of analytic functions in the open unit disk D for which
