Strongly omnipresent operators: general conditions and applications to composition operators [PDF]
This paper studies the concept of strongly omnipresent operators that was recently introduced by the first two authors. An operator T on the space H(G) of holomorphic functions on a complex domain G is called strongly omnipresent whenever the set of T ...

We study the composition of an arbitrary number of Fourier integral operators $A_j$, $j=1,\dots,M$, $M\ge 2$, defined through symbols belonging to the so-called SG classes.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

On the composition operator with variable integrability
In this article, we considered a class of composition operators on Lebesgue spaces with variable exponents over metric measure spaces. Taking advantage of the compatibility between the metric-measurable structure and the regularity properties of the ...

Boundedness, compactness and Schatten-class membership of weighted composition operators
The boundedness and compactness of weighted composition operators on the Hardy space ${\mathcal H}^2$ of the unit disc is analysed. Particular reference is made to the case when the self-map of the disc is an inner function.

Spectra of Compact Composition Operators [PDF]
Let ϕ \phi be holomorphic and map the open unit disk into itself, and let C ϕ : f → f ∘ ϕ {C_\phi }:f \to f \circ \phi be the composition operator on H 2 {H^2} generated ...

Molecular bases of circadian magnesium rhythms across eukaryotes
Circadian rhythms in intracellular [Mg2+] exist across eukaryotic kingdoms. Central roles for Mg2+ in metabolism suggest that Mg2+ rhythms could regulate daily cellular energy and metabolism. In this Perspective paper, we propose that ancestral prokaryotic transport proteins could be responsible for mediating Mg2+ rhythms and posit a feedback model ...

Composition and Decomposition of Positive Linear Operators (VIII)
In a series of papers, most of them authored or co-authored by H. Gonska, several authors investigated problems concerning the composition and decomposition of positive linear operators defined on spaces of functions.

Crosstalk between the ribosome quality control‐associated E3 ubiquitin ligases LTN1 and RNF10
Loss of the E3 ligase LTN1, the ubiquitin‐like modifier UFM1, or the deubiquitinating enzyme UFSP2 disrupts endoplasmic reticulum–ribosome quality control (ER‐RQC), a pathway that removes stalled ribosomes and faulty proteins. This disruption may trigger a compensatory response to ER‐RQC defects, including increased expression of the E3 ligase RNF10 ...
