CSBR: A Compositional Semantics-Based Service Bundle Recommendation Approach for Mashup Development
IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, 2022An increasing number of services are being offered which leads to difficulties in choosing appropriate services during mashup development. Currently, several service recommendation techniques have been developed for mashup creation, however, they are ...

We present novel experimental data pertaining to the use and interpretation of simple probability expressions (such as possible or likely) and complex ones (such as possibly likely or certainly possible) in situations of higher-order uncertainty, i.e ...

Composition in Distributional Semantics
Language and Linguistics Compass, 2013Abstract Distributional Semantic Models, which automatically induce word meaning representations from naturally occurring textual data, are a success story of computational linguistics. Recently, there has been much interest in whether such models, endowed with a compositional component, can also successfully ...

The composition of semantics in Algol 68
Communications of the ACM, 1971The main features of Algol 68 are explained from a semantic point of view. It is shown how the language permits the composition of values and actions, i.e. ultimately programs, from a minimum set of primitives with a few fundamental recursive rules of composition. The associated syntax is briefly reviewed.

A Compositional and Interpretable Semantic Space
Proceedings of the 2015 Conference of the North American Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics: Human Language Technologies, 2015Vector Space Models (VSMs) of Semantics are useful tools for exploring the semantics of single words, and the composition of words to make phrasal meaning. While many methods can estimate the meaning (i.e. vector) of a phrase, few do so in an interpretable way. We introduce a new method (CNNSE) that allows word and phrase vectors to adapt to the notion

A Compositional Semantics for Repairable BDMPs
2020Boolean-logic Driven Markov Processes (BDMPs) is a graphical language for reliability analysis of dynamic repairable systems. Simulation and trace-based analysis tools for BDMPs exist and have been used to analyze reliability, safety and security aspects of industrially relevant case studies.

We motivate and describe the design and development of an emerging encyclopedia of compositional semantics, pursuing three objectives. We first seek to compile a comprehensive catalogue of interoperable semantic analyses, i.e., a precise characterization
