Equivalence classes of Fibonacci lattices and their similarity properties [PDF]
We investigate, theoretically and experimentally, the properties of diffraction spectra of Fibonacci lattices with arbitrary spacings. We show that, by means of a suitable composition rule, a Fibonacci sequence can be mapped into another one with a different lattice spacing.

CoMPosT: Characterizing and Evaluating Caricature in LLM Simulations [PDF]
Recent work has aimed to capture nuances of human behavior by using LLMs to simulate responses from particular demographics in settings like social science experiments and public opinion surveys. However, there are currently no established ways to discuss or evaluate the quality of such LLM simulations. Moreover, there is growing concern that these LLM

Short- and long-term effects of continuous compost amendment on soil microbiome community
Organic amendment, and especially the use of composts, is a well-accepted sustainable agricultural practice. Compost increases soil carbon and microbial biomass, changes enzymatic activity, and enriches soil carbon and nitrogen stocks.

Survival of Salmonella spp. in Composting using Vial and Direct Inoculums Technique [PDF]
The survival of Salmonella spp. as pathogen indicator in composting was studied. The inoculums technique was used to gives the known amounts of Salmonella spp. involved in composting. The inoculums of Salmonella spp. solution was added directly into the compost material. The direct inoculum was compared with inoculums in vial technique.
