The only exception was found in the pattern the adjective + the noun when English compound adjective was translated into Lithuanian by the equivalent compound adjective. The analysis exhibited that the English compound adjectives built in 10 different patterns were translated mt6 Lithuanian as single word&«o£ complex phrases.
