Overdispersed Nonlinear Regression Models
In this paper we propose nonlinear regression models in the biparametric family of distributions. In this class of models we propose two new classes of overdispersed nonlinear regression models: the first, defined from the overdispersion family of ...

ABSTRACT Background Chronic kidney disease is a growing public health problem worldwide, and the number of patients requiring renal replacement therapy is steadily increasing. Türkiye has experienced a similar rise in both the incidence and prevalence of renal replacement therapy over the past decades; however, national‐level projections of future ...

Double differential cross sections of proton emission in neutron induced reaction on 27Al
Double differential sections for proton emission on aluminium are presented for 40 MeV incident neutron energies. Angular distributions, energy differential and total production cross sections are obtained.

Compound gamma bivariate distributions
Bivariate distributions, which may be of special relevance to the lifetimes of two components of a system, are derived using the following approach. As the two components are part of one system and therefore exposed to similar conditions of service, there will be similarity between their lifetimes that is not shared by components belonging to different

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

A Note on Complexities by Means of Quantum Compound Systems
It has been shown that joint probability distributions of quantum systems generally do not exist, and the key to solving this concern is the compound state invented by Ohya.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Mass-energy distribution of fragments in Langevin dynamics of fission induced by heavy ions
Four-dimensional Langevin equation was employed to calculate mass-energy distributions of fission fragments of highly excited compound nuclei. The research took into account not only three shape collective coordinates introduced on the basis of {c,h,α ...
