This study introduces a novel multi‐scale scaffold design using L‐fractals arranged in Archimedean tessellations for tissue regeneration. Despite similar porosity, tiles display vastly different tensile responses (1–100 MPa) and deformation modes. In vitro experiments with hMSCs show geometry‐dependent growth and activity. Over 55 000 tile combinations

This study examines how pore shape and manufacturing‐induced deviations affect the mechanical properties of 3D‐printed lattice materials with constant porosity. Combining µ‐CT analysis, FEM, and compression testing, the authors show that structural imperfections reduce stiffness and strength, while bulk material inhomogeneities probably enhance ...

There is a significant need for biomaterials with well‐defined stability and bioactivity to support tissue regeneration. In this study, we developed a tunable microgel platform that enables the decoupling of stiffness from porosity, thereby promoting bone regeneration.

Constructions for Clumps Statistics. [PDF]
We consider a component of the word statistics known as clump; starting from a finite set of words, clumps are maximal overlapping sets of these occurrences. This object has first been studied by Schbath with the aim of counting the number of occurrences

A miniaturized mechano‐acoustic sensor is developed using an electrospun PVDF nanomesh as the diaphragm in a capacitive sensor structure. Unlike conventional nanomesh‐based sensors, it achieves high linear sensitivity, a broad and flat frequency response, and a compact form factor.

Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions

A generalization of the negative binomial distribution
Background & Aim: Consider a sequence of independent Bernoulli trials with p denoting the probability of success at each trial. With this definition, the probability that the nth success proceed by r failures follows the negative binomial distribution ...

The Stability of the Aggregate Loss Distribution
In this article we introduce the stability analysis of a compound sum: it consists of computing the standardized variation of the survival function of the sum resulting from an infinitesimal perturbation of the common distribution of the summands ...

Compound poisson distributions and KNO scaling
Abstract We propose to represent the multiplicity distribution by a compound Poisson distribution suggested by unitary or absorptive multiperipheral models. In this framework, we discuss the scaling law proposed recently by Koba, Nielsen and Olesen, and in particular the behaviour of non-asymptotic terms.

Multiband Switchable Microwave Absorbing Metamaterials Based on Reconfigurable Kirigami–Origami
A reconfigurable metamaterial featuring tunable microwave‐absorbing and load‐bearing performance is proposed. Stretchable kirigami and bistable origami configurations are integrated as actuating components, and the synergistic deformation mechanisms are systematically analyzed.
