The study presents biodegradable and recyclable mixed‐matrix membranes (MMMs), hydrogels, and cryogels using luminescent nanoscale metal‐organic frameworks (nMOFs) and biopolymers. These bio‐nMOF‐MMMs combine europium‐based nMOFs as probes for the status of the materials with the biopolymers agar and gelatine and present alternatives to conventional ...

The start-up of a gas turbine engine using compressed air tangentially fed onto the blades of the basic turbine [PDF]
The use of compressed air was suggested to increase the reliability and motor lifetime of a gas turbine engine. Experiments were carried out and the results are shown in the form of the variation in circumferential force as a function of the entry angle ...

REVISITING COMPRESSED AIR ENERGY STORAGE. [PDF]
The use of renewable energies as a response to the EU targets defined for 2030 Climate Change and Energy has been increasing. Also non-dispatchable and intermittent renewable energies like wind and solar cannot generally match supply and demand, which ...

Optimizing (1‐x) BiFeO3‐xCaTiO3 Perovskites: A Pathway to Efficient Flexible Energy Storage
Perovskite materials, like BFO CTO, are popular due to their high conductivity, low cost, and wide availability. In this work a symmetric electrochemical cell based on BFO‐CTO shows a charge of 3.356 C.cm⁻2, giving a specific capacitance of 2.79 mF.cm⁻2 at 1 mV.s⁻2.

THE CHANGE OF WORKFLOW PROCESS INDICATORS ACCORDING TO SPEED CHARACTERISTICS WHEN HEATING THE COMPRESSEDAIR AT THE ENTRONCE TO THE PNEUMATIC ENGINE [PDF]
Experimental studies of the four-cylinder piston air motor 0/D = 76/77 with a slide air diffuser. There were considered the experimental high-speed characteristics, taking into account the heating of the compressed intake air. Heating of the entering the
