Performance Analysis of Abradable Coating Systems for Aircraft Gas Turbines
Three CoNiCrAlY/YSZ/MgAl2O4 abradable liner configurations on a nickel‐superalloy are evaluated by thermal‐gradient cycling and incursion tests. Laser ablation of the bondcoat and/or Y2O3‐stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) intermediate layer increases mechanical interlocking and bonding for thick topcoats.

Embedding Secret Data in a Vector Quantization Codebook Using a Novel Thresholding Scheme
In recent decades, information security has become increasingly valued, including many aspects of privacy protection, copyright protection, and digital forensics. Therefore, many data hiding schemes have been proposed and applied to various carriers such

B-move : faster bidirectional character extensions in a run-length compressed index [PDF]
Due to the increasing availability of high-quality genome sequences, pan-genomes are gradually replacing single consensus reference genomes in many bioinformatics pipelines to better capture genetic diversity.

Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

Histogram preserving QIM-based watermarking [PDF]
Quantisation-based watermarking schemes are known to be strongly robust to noise and widely applied for image authentication. However, such schemes tend to create specific patterns in the histogram of the watermarked image, thus opening security gap for ...

Compressed Persistent Index for Efficient Rank/Select Queries
We design compressed persistent indices that store a bit vector of size n and support a sequence of k bit-flip update operations, such that rank and select queries at any version can be supported efficiently. In particular, we present partially and fully

Index ordering by query-independent measures [PDF]
Conventional approaches to information retrieval search through all applicable entries in an inverted file for a particular collection in order to find those documents with the highest scores. For particularly large collections this may be extremely time

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.
