Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

Synergistic Dual Slip‐Link Toughening of a Water‐Rich Double Network Hydrogel Combining Slide‐Ring and Highly Entangled Networks

Two distinct slip‐link mechanisms – the slide‐ring pulley effect and highly entangled chains – are combined in a water‐rich double network hydrogel, achieving synergistic toughening, near‐complete reversibility, and exceptional friction tear resistance at >$>$91 wt.% water.

Observation of Excitonic Instability in a Monolayer Ta2NiSe5 With Strain Disorder

Monolayer Ta2${\rm Ta}_2$NiSe5${\rm NiSe}_5$ sustains an excitonic insulating phase up to 190 K, with Raman signatures of gap opening and critical excitonic fluctuations. Unity Quantum Yield of High‐Entropy Quantum Dots Composited With Photonic Crystals for Information Encryption

This study first extends the high‐entropy concept to I‐III‐VI quantum dots (QDs) and synthesizes CZCrGSe/ZnSe/ZnS core/shell/shell QDs with a record photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of 100%. Their ZnSe/ZnS double shell efficiently passivates defects and boosts structural stability.
