Anisotropic Shear Properties of Organic Interfaces in Bio‐composite Materials
A novel cantilever design enables direct probing of shear properties at single organic interfaces within biocomposite prismatic ultrastructures. By decoupling lateral and torsional shear responses, the method reveals isotropic behavior in Atrina vexillum and pronounced anisotropy in Unio pictorum.

Numerical simulations of strongly correlated fermions confined in 1D optical lattices
On the basis of quantum Monte Carlo (QMC) simulations we study the formation of Mott domains in the one-dimensional Hubbard model with an additional confining potential.

Side Reaction Pathway Modulation for Hydrogen Evolution‐Free Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries
A ZnO–TeO2–Te ternary composite layer with a unique rice grain‐like morphology is spontaneously formed on the Zn anode via telluric acid additive. This functional interphase effectively suppresses side reactions such as zinc hydroxide sulfate formation, hydrogen evolution, and Zn corrosion, enabling highly reversible and stable Zn metal cycling in ...

THERMODYNAMICS OF THE FERMI GAS IN A QUANTUM WELL
For the ideal Fermi gas that fills a quantum well confined by two parallel planes, there are calculated the thermodynamic characteristics in general form for arbitrary temperatures, namely: the thermodynamic potential, energy, entropy, equations of state,

LipoGels: Robust Self‐Lubricating Physically Cross‐Linked Alginate Hydrogels Embedded with Liposomes
Physically cross‐linked alginate hydrogels embedded with 1,2‐dipalmitoyl‐sn‐glycero‐3‐phosphocholine liposomes (LipoGels) are prepared under optimized conditions to avoid shrinkage and achieve structural uniformity. LipoGels demonstrate robust mechanical strength (Young's modulus ≈1 MPa), excellent lubrication (friction coefficient ≈0.021), and ...
