Impact of Asymptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage on Outcome After Endovascular Stroke Treatment
ABSTRACT Background Endovascular treatment (EVT) achieves high rates of recanalization in acute large‐vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke, but functional recovery remains heterogeneous. While symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) has been well studied, the prognostic impact of asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (aICH) after EVT is less certain ...

ABSTRACT Background Accessing brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be challenging, especially for underserved patients, which may lead to disparities in neurological diagnosis. Method This mixed‐methods study enrolled adults with one of four neurological disorders: mild cognitive impairment or dementia of the Alzheimer type, multiple sclerosis ...

Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy due to Biallelic Pathogenic Variants in PIGM
ABSTRACT Objective PIGM encodes a critical enzyme in the glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)‐anchor biosynthesis pathway. While promoter‐region mutations in PIGM have been associated with a relatively mild phenotype characterized by portal vein thrombosis and absence seizures, recent evidence suggests that coding‐region mutations result in a more severe

On state-space compression and state reachability retrieval of Petri nets
The problem of state-space explosion and state reachability decision has been a focus in Petri net analysis. In this article, some algorithms based on data features of state space are proposed for state-space reduction and reachability analysis in Petri ...

Evidence of Iron Accumulation in Cerebral Adrenoleukodystrophy: A Potential Novel Disease Mechanism
ABSTRACT In this first application of Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping Source Separation to cerebral adrenoleukodystrophy, we uncovered alterations in iron and myelin within lesions and normal appearing white matter. As validation, we demonstrate abnormal iron accumulation in those same compartments within primary brain tissue.

Objective Foot orthoses are thought to improve pain by potentially modifying internal mechanical forces. To test this, we explored whether foot orthoses can modify patterns of bone marrow lesions (BMLs) in people with midfoot pain. Methods Forty‐two people were recruited with midfoot pain, and magnetic resonance imaging–confirmed midfoot BMLs ...

Adaptive Compression Trie Based Bloom Filter: Request Filter for NDN Content Store
In named data networking (NDN), content store (CS) is proposed to provide on-path cache service. When user's request with content name is forwarded to NDN node, exact match in CS is carried out first.

Objective We examined whether 18 months of strength training in individuals with knee varus alignment and medial tibiofemoral osteoarthritis (OA) reduced knee joint loads during walking compared to an attention control group. Methods This study was a secondary analysis of a randomized clinical trial that compared the effects of strength training to a ...

Hybrid Color Image Compression based DPCM and Slant Transform
Nowadays, still images are used everywhere in the digital world. Images take lot of computer space, in many practical situations, all original images cannot be stored, and a compression must be used.

An Efficient IoV Trajectory Compression Method in Vehicle Terminals Using Width-Direction-Angle
A highly efficient online compression of vehicle trajectories is important to the application of the Internet-of-Vehicles (IoV) system. However, the high time-space complexity of existing vehicle trajectory compression algorithms makes them unable to ...
