Isometric Test Data Compression

IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, 2015
This paper introduces a novel test data compression scheme, which is primarily devised for low-power test applications. It is based on a fundamental observation that in addition to low test cube fill rates, a very few specified bits, necessary to detect a fault, are actually irreplaceable, whereas the remaining ones can be placed in alternative ...

A new test compression scheme

Proceedings Twelfth International Conference on VLSI Design. (Cat. No.PR00013), 1999
Generalized Modified Positional Syndrome (GMPS), of order p, a new compaction scheme for test output data is presented. The order p determines the aliasing probability and the amount of hardware overhead required to implement the scheme. GMPS of order two gives an aliasing probability about an order of magnitude lower than the best scheme reported in ...

The Arthroscopic Active Compression Test

Arthroscopy, 2005
Abstract Pathology of the biceps tendon is often a factor in the pathogenesis of shoulder pain. However, diagnosis and management of such pathology remains controversial. Multiple tests have been described to identify pathology related to the biceps tendon and biceps anchor.

VENOUS-COMPRESSION TEST IN HYPERPARATHYROIDISM

The Lancet, 1969
Abstract Venous compression of the arm (100 mm. Hg) with rhythmical fist-clenching for 15 minutes in hyperparathyroid patients caused a substantial rise in serum-calcium in the occluded arm. In 25 patients the average increase was 7.2%, compared with an increase of only 1.0% in 25 normal controls.

Group testing for video compression

Data Compression Conference, 2004. Proceedings. DCC 2004, 2004
Hong and Ladner (2001) used context-based group testing to implement bit-plane coding for image compression. We extend this technique to video coding, by replacing the quantization and entropy-coding stages, of an H.263 standard video coder, with bit-plane coding.

STIFFNESS OF COMPRESSION TESTING MACHINES

Journal of Texture Studies, 2000
ABSTRACTA ring test with six participating laboratories and rubber stoppers as reference material was performed to monitor the performance of commercial compression testing instruments. Testing conditions were chosen to be in the range of regular compression testing. Small, single screw instruments with a cantilever exhibited a significant deviation in

Compression Strategies for Passive Testing

2011 IEEE Fourth International Conference on Software Testing, Verification and Validation Workshops, 2011
Testing is one of the most widely used techniques to increase the confidence on the correctness of complex software systems. In this paper we extend our previous work on passive testing with invariants, this technique checks the logs, collected from the system under test, in order to detect faults. This new proposal is focused on how the collected logs

On don’t cares in test compression

Microprocessors and Microsystems, 2014
Both test compression tools and ATPGs directly producing compressed test greatly benefit from don't care values present in the test. Actually, presence of these don't cares is essential for success of the compression. Contemporary ATPGs produce tests having more than 97% of don't cares for large industrial circuits, thus high compression ratios can be ...

Test width compression for built-in self testing

Proceedings International Test Conference 1997, 2002
We present a method for designing test generator circuits (TGCs) that incorporate a precomputed test set to in the patterns they produce. Our method uses width compression based on the property of d-compatibles, which allows us to encode to more efficiently than previous methods that use only compatibles and inverse compatibles.

The Pneumatic Compression Test and Modified Pneumatic Compression Test in the Diagnosis of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Journal of Hand Surgery (European Volume), 2007
There are no precise criteria for the diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS): the history is useful but the value of the various provocative tests is questionable. The purpose of this study was to examine the diagnostic value of a new provocative test, the ‘modified pneumatic compression test’ in CTS. The study group consisted of 37 patients with 50
