Opticus atrophy—Genetic testing with WES/WGS in 62 patients with optic atrophy provided a genetic diagnosis in 21 patients (33.9%). 42.9% of these involved non‐OPA1 genes, including WFS1, ACO2, NR2F1, UCHL1, CACNA1F, and COQ2, where the genetic diagnosis prompted additional clinical evaluation, surveillance, or therapeutic intervention.

The authors report two patients with lumbosacral epidural lipomatosis with compressive neuropathy. The first patient had a history of two short terms of oral steroid administration and eleven caudal blocks.

Femoral and sciatic compression neuropathy
Abstract A case of a femoral neuropathy following anticoagulant therapy is presented. A combined femoral, obturator, and sciatic nerve palsy resulting from complications of atherosclerotic disease of the aorta and iliac arteries is also described.

Summary A 2‐year‐old Arabian filly presented with acute onset grade 4/5 (AAEP) right forelimb lameness and hindlimb ataxia following a collision with another horse and subsequent fall. The right forelimb lameness was associated with marked scapulohumeral joint instability.
