High magnification optical imaging systems for the characterization of soft X‐ray focii

open access: yesJournal of Synchrotron Radiation, Volume 32, Issue 6, Page 1479-1490, November 2025.
We developed compact soft X‐ray imaging systems optimized for ultra‐high‐vacuum environments, achieving micrometer‐level spatial resolution with high collection efficiency. Characterization confirmed excellent sensitivity and linearity, with applications demonstrated in caustic measurements and grating interferometry for wavefront analysis. We present a

Temperature‐Inert Terbium Cluster Scintillator

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 6, Issue 10, October 2025.
A terbium cluster scintillator with temperature‐inert and excellent X‐ray excited luminescence property was constructed, which was successfully used in temperature‐independent high‐resolution X‐ray imaging with an ultrahigh spatial resolution of 23.3 LP/mm.

Scintillator Pixel Detectors for Measurement of Compton Scattering

open access: yesCondensed Matter, 2019
The Compton scattering of gamma rays is commonly detected using two detector layers, the first for detection of the recoil electron and the second for the scattered gamma.

Transverse Beam Profiles

open access: yes, 2020
The performance and safe operation of a particle accelerator is closely connected to the transverse emittance of the beams it produces. For this reason many techniques have been developed over the years for monitoring the transverse distribution of ...

A Si/CdTe Semiconductor Compton Camera [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We are developing a Compton camera based on Si and CdTe semiconductor imaging devices with high energy resolution. In this paper, results from the most recent prototype are reported. The Compton camera consists of six stacked double-sided Si strip detectors and CdTe pixel detectors, which are read out with low noise analog ASICs, VA32TAs.
