The effects of Compton camera data acquisition and readout timing on PG imaging for proton range verification. [PDF]
The purpose of this article was to determine how the characteristics of the data acquisition (DAQ) electronics of a Compton camera (CC) affect the quality of the recorded prompt gamma (PG) interaction data and the reconstructed images, during clinical ...

Si/CdTe semiconductor compton camera [PDF]
We are developing a Compton camera based on Si and CdTe semiconductor imaging devices with high energy resolution. In this paper, results from the most recent prototype are reported. The Compton camera consists of six layered double-sided Si Strip detectors and CdTe pixel detectors, which are read out with low noise analog ASICs, VA32TAs.

Component characterization and commissioning of a gamma-PET prototype detector system
Hybrid imaging systems, comprising PET and Compton camera modules, have recently gained in interest, due to their capability to simultaneously detect positron annihilation photons and γ-rays from single-photon emitting sources as also used in SPECT.

Development of hybrid shielding system for large-area Compton camera: A Monte Carlo study
s: Compton cameras using large scintillators have been developed for high imaging sensitivity. These scintillator-based Compton cameras, however, mainly due to relatively low energy resolution, suffer from undesired background-radiation signals ...

A model of spatial resolution uncertainty for Compton camera imaging [PDF]
Compton cameras use a pair of detectors to record the energy deposited during Compton scattering and photoabsorption of gamma ray photons. By inverting the forward model for these detection events, the 3D radioactive source distribution can be recovered ...

NIKA2: a mm camera for cluster cosmology [PDF]
Galaxy clusters constitute a major cosmological probe. However, Planck 2015 results have shown a weak tension between CMB-derived and cluster-derived cosmological parameters.
