The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Computational Cognitive Models of Summarization Assessment Skills [PDF]
This paper presents a general computational cognitive model of the way a summary is assessed by teachers. It is based on models of two subprocesses: determining the importance of sentences and guessing the cognitive rules that the student may have used ...

Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Optimization using surrogate models and partially converged computational fluid dynamics simulations [PDF]
Efficient methods for global aerodynamic optimization using computational fluid dynamics simulations should aim to reduce both the time taken to evaluate design concepts and the number of evaluations needed for optimization.

Here we solve the following combinatorial problem involving the inclusion-exclusion principle and Stirling numbers. In a series of 30 experiments, a computer randomly generates one of the numbers 1, ..., 10. What is the probability that each number occurs at least once?

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Agent-Based Computational Economics: A Constructive Approach to Economic Theory [PDF]
This chapter explores the potential advantages and disadvantages of Agent-based Computational Economics (ACE) for the study of economic systems. General points are concretely illustrated using an ACE model of a two-sector decentralized market economy ...
