Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods have been used for calculating wind flow around buildings and predicting pedestrian wind conditions. Compared to the traditional wind tunnel testing, CFD has the potential to be more efficient and its graphic presentation of wind flow fields is particularly attractive to architects and planners.
