Schooling Trajectories and the Development of Brain Dynamics: A Comparative Study of Montessori and Traditional Education

We investigate whether Montessori and traditional schooling systems shape the developmental trajectory of large‐scale brain dynamics in different ways. We quantify the arrow of time (“non‐reversibility”) in neural activity during resting state and movie‐watching, revealing distinct maturational patterns.

Current technologies for spinal cord optogenetic stimulation rely on external power sources and face reliability constraints in freely behaving animals. Biological rhythms coordinate physiology, from genes to behavior. Study of circadian rhythms in brain tissue is constrained by limited throughput and spatial and temporal information quality. A new platform for high‐throughput, long‐term multiplexed fluorescent live imaging of circadian rhythms in brain slices is introduced.
