INVESTIGATING THE EFFECT OF FOCUS STACKING ON SFM-MVS ALGORITHMS [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2017
The Depth of Field (DoF) is a vital factor in photogrammetric applications. Its effect is in most cases pretty obvious especially when capturing small artefacts.

From Shear to Sound: Mechanics–Acoustics Mapping of TPMS Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) lattices are mapped across mechanical and acoustic performance, revealing that descriptors validated in compression fail under shear. First‐time comparison with trusses included. A transition from porous to resonance‐driven absorption emerges at 25% density.

Correction of Heights from Parallax-bar Using Finite Element Approach

open access: yesJournal of King Saud University: Engineering Sciences, 1989
The finite element approach has been used to correct heights obtained from parallax bar measurements and conventional parallax-height formula based on vertical aerial photography. Experimental tests show that this approach could give higher accuracy than

X‐Functionality–Driven Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution in 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report a water‐based synthesis of 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 perovskite microcrystals with prominent photocatalytic (PC) activity for H2 production. The synergy between organic functionalization and HI‐derived iodide scavenges holes suppress octahedral distortion, and favor electron accumulation, enabling a PC H2 evolution ∼20 µmol·g−1 and long‐term stability ...
