Recent Advances in Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ubiquitous defects predominately account for photo‐instability and open‐circuit voltage losses in wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells (WBG PSCs). This review comprehensively presents the underlying impact mechanisms, summarizes the advanced optimization strategies across various functional layers and their interfaces to develop efficient and stable WBG

Exceptional Thermal Conductivity in Printed Dielectrics through Compositional and Microstructural Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A multi‐generational compositional design creates a printable low‐loss dielectric composite that achieves over 16 W m−1 K−1. This breakthrough is enabled by thermal post‐processing, which promotes templated crystallization in a polymer matrix from surface‐modified particles, creating a “hetero‐percolated network.” The resulting material is three ...

Superior Adhesion of Monolayer Amorphous Carbon to Copper

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The adhesion energy of monolayer amorphous carbon on copper substrate is 85 J m−2, 13 times higher than that of graphene due to covalent‐like bonding between the sp2 carbon structure to copper. X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), near‐edge X‐ray absorption (NEXAFS), and (density functional theory) DFT calculations are used to elucidate the ...

A Mathematical Model of Quantum Computer by Both Arithmetic and Set Theory

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2020
A practical viewpoint links reality, representation, and language to calculation by the concept of Turing (1936) machine being the mathematical model of our computers. After the Gödel incompleteness theorems (1931) or the insolvability of the so-called halting problem (Turing 1936; Church 1936) as to a classical machine of Turing, one of the simplest ...

Multi‐Agent‐Network‐Based Idea Generator for Zinc‐Ion Battery Electrolyte Discovery: A Case Study on Zinc Tetrafluoroborate Hydrate‐Based Deep Eutectic Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An LLM‐based multi‐agent network screens academic literature to propose multiple environmentally friendly aqueous deep eutectic electrolytes for zinc‐ion batteries. Experiments identify an optimal composition of Zn(BF4)2·xH2O and ethylene carbonate, which shows high conductivity and cycling stability.

Interval Mathematics Techniques for Control Theory Computations [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
Various types of nonlinear equations or systems of equations arise in elementary and advanced control theory. For example, the transfer function corresponding to a single linear controlled ordinary differential equation is a rational function (cf. eg., [2], Sect. 1.2.).

Multi‐Scale Modeling of a 3D Soft Magnetoelectric Patch for Wireless Nerve Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Core‐shell, magnetoelectric nanoparticles (MENPs) can serve as wireless electric nano‐sources, thanks to their ability to generate high levels of electricity, when stimulated by a human‐safe external magnetic field. By combining MENPs with soft, biocompatible polymeric matrices and optimizing its composite configuration and electrical behavior via ...
