Postmortem Computed Tomography Angiography of Newborns

Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2020
We propose an original method of postmortem computed tomography angiography of the body of a deceased newborn. The work is based on the analysis of the results of comprehensive postmortem computed tomography and pathological examination of 30 newborns, who died from congenital malformations.

Computed Tomography Angiography

2020
Computed tomography angiography (CTA) provides additive information to conventional CT in neuroradiology. It visualizes vascular structures after intravascular injection of a radiopaque contrast material. With the introduction of multi-detector-row spiral CT, CTA has become the standard technique for fast and accurate vascular imaging.

Computed tomography angiography for the interventional cardiologist

European Heart Journal - Cardiovascular Imaging, 2014
In recent years, coronary CT angiography (CCTA) has become a widely adopted technique, not only due to its high diagnostic accuracy, but also to the fact that CCTA provides a comprehensive evaluation of the total (obstructive and non-obstructive) coronary atherosclerotic burden.

Computed Tomography Angiography

Radiologic Clinics of North America, 2016
The principles of computed tomography angiography (CTA) remain the following with modern-day computed tomography (CT): high-resolution volumetric CT data acquisition, imaging at maximum contrast medium enhancement, and subsequent angiographic two- and three-dimensional visualization.

Computed Tomography Angiography of the Extremities in Emergencies

Seminars in Ultrasound, CT and MRI, 2017
Computed tomography angiography (CTA) of the extremities offers a noninvasive, rapid means of evaluation of the extremities in vascular emergencies. CTA is now the first-line investigation for this purpose, offering high sensitivity and specificity in diagnosis.

Computed tomography angiography and other applications of computed tomography

2015
Patients presenting with acute chest pain constitute a common and important diagnostic challenge. This has increased interest in using computed tomography for non-invasive visualization of coronary artery disease in patients presenting with acute chest pain to the emergency department; particularly the subset of patients who are suspected of having an ...

Computer Tomography and Angiography in Renal Angiomyolipoma

Acta Radiologica. Diagnosis, 1981
Computer tomography and nephroangiography were performed in 5 patients with angiomyolipoma of the kidneys. CT was characteristic in all cases by demonstrating areas of fat in the tumor, and the extent of the neoplasm could be assessed preoperatively. Nephroangiography was of value as a preoperative demonstration of the vascular anatomy.
