Prediction of lymph node metastasis in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma based on dual-energy CT radiomics: focus on the features of lymph nodes with a short axis diameter ≥6 mm

open access: yesFrontiers in Oncology
ObjectiveTo explore the value of the features of lymph nodes (LNs) with a short-axis diameter ≥6 mm in predicting lymph node metastasis (LNM) in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma (GAC) based on dual-energy CT (DECT) radiomics.Materials and methodsData of ...

Metastasis of breast cancer to liver through direct lymphatic drainage: a case report

open access: yesJournal of International Medical Research, 2021
Breast cancer liver metastasis (BCLM) is considered to occur by hematogenous spread of primary breast cancer cells. We herein present a case of lymphatic BCLM that was confirmed by preoperative imaging for sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB).

Cost-Effectiveness Analysis of 68Ga DOTA-TATE PET/CT, 111In-Pentetreotide SPECT/CT and CT for Diagnostic Workup of Neuroendocrine Tumors

open access: yesDiagnostics, 2021
Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are relatively rare neoplasms arising from the hormone-producing neuroendocrine system that can occur in various organs such as pancreas, small bowel, stomach and lung.

Aplikasi Teknik Computed Tomography (CT) Scan Dalam Penelitian Porositas Tanah Dan Perkembangan Akar [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
: Root development and water movement in the soil profile are highly affected by the shape, size and orientation of the soil pores. The high spatial and temporal variability of soil porosity required a quick and repeated non-distruptive technique to ...

Investigating plywood behaviour in outdoor conditions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Moisture behaviour of plywood is investigated in combination with detailed structural analysis. In the lab, neutron radiography and X-ray computed tomography (X-ray CT) were used to map the moisture distribution and internal structure of plywood ...

In vitro properties of patient serum predict clinical outcome after high dose rate brachytherapy of hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

A Nordic survey of CT doses in hybrid PET/CT and SPECT/CT examinations

open access: yesEJNMMI Physics, 2019
Background Computed tomography (CT) scans are routinely performed in positron emission tomography (PET) and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) examinations globally, yet few surveys have been conducted to gather national diagnostic ...
