Sketch-to-Architecture: Generative AI-aided Architectural Design [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Recently, the development of large-scale models has paved the way for various interdisciplinary research, including architecture. By using generative AI, we present a novel workflow that utilizes AI models to generate conceptual floorplans and 3D models from simple sketches, enabling rapid ideation and controlled generation of architectural renderings ...

Determination of ADP/ATP translocase isoform ratios in malignancy and cellular senescence

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The individual functions of three isoforms exchanging ADP and ATP (ADP/ATP translocases; ANTs) on the mitochondrial membrane remain unclear. We developed a method for quantitatively differentiating highly similar human ANT1, ANT2, and ANT3 using parallel reaction monitoring. This method allowed us to assess changes in translocase levels during cellular

Detecting homologous recombination deficiency for breast cancer through integrative analysis of genomic data

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study develops a semi‐supervised classifier integrating multi‐genomic data (1404 training/5893 validation samples) to improve homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) detection in breast cancer. Our method demonstrates prognostic value and predicts chemotherapy/PARP inhibitor sensitivity in HRD+ tumours.

Novel hybrids of 1,2,3-triazole-benzoxazole: design, synthesis, and assessment of DprE1 enzyme inhibitors using fluorometric assay and computational analysis

open access: yesJournal of Enzyme Inhibition and Medicinal Chemistry
Decaprenylphosphoryl-β-D-ribose-oxidase (DprE1), a subunit of the essential decaprenylphosphoribose-2′-epimerase, plays a crucial role in the synthesis of cell wall arabinan components in mycobacteria, including the pathogen responsible for tuberculosis,
