Algorithms for estimating modular numbers in floating-point arithmetic
In the residue number system (RNS), the operations of addition, subtraction, and multiplication are executed in parallel for different digits (residues) of the modular numbers.

Aluminum and nitride coatings are used in industry because they are hard, resist wear, and protect against oxidation. Adding boron can improve friction behavior and other properties. This study tests coatings on surfaces with different finishes. Results show smoother surfaces perform better, while rough ones wear faster, although coatings can reduce ...

Computer program provides linear sampled- data analysis for high order systems [PDF]
Computer program performs transformations in the order S-to W-to Z to allow arithmetic to be completed in the W-plane. The method is based on a direct transformation from the S-plane to the W-plane.

The Computational Content of Arithmetical Proofs
Natural deductions in intuitionistic arithmetic have a unique normal form. This is not true for Gentzen-style sequent derivations, especially in classical arithmetic. Using a special redundancy construction from a previous work with M. Baaz, the author proves that for a wide class of arithmetical theories \(T\) the number of possible cut-free forms of ...

An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

RRAM Crossbar-Based In-Memory Computation of Anisotropic Filters for Image Preprocessingloa
Anisotropic-diffusion is a commonly used signal preprocessing technique that allows extracting meaningful local characteristics from a signal, such as edges in an image and can be used to support higher-level processing tasks, such as shape detection ...

Design of Quantum Circuits for Galois Field Squaring and Exponentiation
This work presents an algorithm to generate depth, quantum gate and qubit optimized circuits for $GF(2^m)$ squaring in the polynomial basis. Further, to the best of our knowledge the proposed quantum squaring circuit algorithm is the only work that ...

Nanosecond pulse laser texturing yields superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic AA2024 surfaces. Salt‐spray tests show that periodic superhydrophobic patterns suppress pitting, whereas superhydrophilic textures enhance it, linking laser‐induced morphology, wettability, and oxide chemistry to corrosion resistance.
