Two-pixel computer-generated hologram with a zero-twist nematic liquid-crystal spatial light modulator

open access: yes, 2000
We present a method of producing a computer-generated hologram by use of a zero-twist linear nematic liquid-crystal spatial light modulator. A 2×1 macro pixel method is used; one pixel represents the real data, and one, the imaginary.

Responsive Phase Gradient Metasurface for Laser Stealth and Dynamic Thermal Camouflage

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
The graphical abstract depicts a phase‐gradient metasurface enabling directional scattering and emissivity‐controlled thermal radiation. The engineered phase profile redistributes the reflected optical momentum, suppressing specular reflection and generating non‐specular scattering.

Wavelength and Full‐Polarization Encrypted Orbital Angular Momentum Meta‐Holography

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
By multiplexing three independent degrees of freedom of light, a single‐layer geometric‐phase metasurface encrypts 24 distinct holographic images across 3 wavelengths, 12 pairs of orthogonal polarizations, and 4 OAM channels, taking advantage of axial chromatic dispersion to reconstruct the color images at the same plane. ABSTRACT Multiplexing multiple

Metasurface‐Based Polarization‐Controlled Generation of 128‐Dimensional Vector Vortex Combs

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
The generation and continuous control of 128‐dimensional vector vortex combs using a single metasurface is reported. This work creates a class of structured light that uniquely integrates ultrahigh dimensionality with vector properties, and represents a crucial step toward on‐chip, reconfigurable generators for ultrahigh‐dimensional vector structured ...

Grating‐Lens Empowered Metafiber for Large‐Angle Light Collection With 3D Nanoprinted Structures

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
A grating‐lens‐based Metafiber enables efficient light coupling into single‐mode fibers at large incidence angles. By combining diffraction and focusing on the fiber facet using a 3D nanoprinted holographic structure, light is selectively coupled only at specific angles while suppressing unwanted signals. This approach achieves high coupling efficiency

[[alternative]]A Study on Computer Generated Hologram and its Application on Joint Transform Correlator

open access: yes, 2010
[[abstract]]By using the Computer Generated Hologram (CGH) technique, we designed a holographic lens with Fourier transform function, and applied this lens into the Joint Transform Correlator (JTC) system for image recognition.
