Rotary 4D Printing of Programmable Metamaterials on Sustainable 4D Mandrel

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
The paper introduces open, rotary 4D printing of programmable tubular metamaterials. It presents an open, non‐planar path‐to‐G‐code pipeline and shape‐changing rotary mandrel that enable support‐free fabrication and multi‐stimuli actuation. Experiments and FEA validate the mentioned features and stress redistribution.

Exploring Double NDR Modulation and UV‐NIR Photodetection in MoS2/Sb2Se3 Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, a van der Waals Sb2Se3/MoS2 heterostructure exhibits dual negative differential resistance (NDR) peaks at room temperature. The first originates from band‐to‐band tunneling, while the second, triggered under laser illumination, is attributed to trap states and recombination dynamics.

Illuminating Quantum Phenomena in 2D Materials: The Power of Optical Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Atomically thin 2D materials host quantum tunnelling, plasmonic and excitonic phenomena driven by reduced dimensionality and strong many‐body interactions. This review links these effects to state‐of‐the‐art optical probes—NSOM, pump–probe, CARS, TRR, and optical frequency comb spectroscopy—highlighting how their ultrahigh spatial–temporal resolution ...

Epitaxial Self‐Assembled Vertically Aligned Nanocomposite Photoelectrodes with Tunable Ambipolar Response

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Ambipolar photoelectrodes enable controlled switching between anodic and cathodic photocurrents in response to light and applied potential. This work demonstrates epitaxial self‐assembled vertically aligned NiTiO3–TiO2 nanocomposite thin films with tunable ambipolar behavior.
