Incorporating "Unconscious Reanalysis" into an Incremental, Monotonic Parser [PDF]
This paper describes an implementation based on a recent model in the psycholinguistic literature. We define a parsing operation which allows the reanalysis of dependencies within an incremental and monotonic processing architecture, and discuss search strategies for its application in a head-initial language (English) and a head-final language ...

The Impact of Diabetes and Metabolic Syndrome Burden on Pain, Neuropathy Severity and Fiber Type
ABSTRACT Objective Determine the association between diabetes and metabolic syndrome (MetS) burden (number of MetS criteria fulfilled) and pain, neuropathy severity, and fiber type involvement in individuals with established polyneuropathy. Methods The Peripheral Neuropathy Research Registry was queried for individuals with type 1 and type 2 diabetes ...

On the Topological Complexity of omega-Languages of Non-Deterministic Petri Nets [PDF]
We show that there are $\Sigma_3^0$-complete languages of infinite words accepted by non-deterministic Petri nets with B\"uchi acceptance condition, or equivalently by B\"uchi blind counter automata. This shows that omega-languages accepted by non-deterministic Petri nets are topologically more complex than those accepted by deterministic Petri nets.
