Simulation and Laboratory Model of Induction Heating in COMSOL Multiphysics [PDF]

open access: possible2021 IEEE International Conference on Modern Electrical and Energy Systems (MEES), 2021
the phenomenon of induction heating is a very energy efficient way of heating bodies. However, it depends on various factors, making the problem highly nonlinear. Mathematical analysis of this problem is in most cases very complex and is reduced to simple cases.

Induction motor modeling using COMSOL multiphysics [PDF]

open access: possible2016 17th International Scientific Conference on Electric Power Engineering (EPE), 2016
This paper presents a time-dependent simulation of three-phase squirrel cage induction motor using COMSOL Multiphysics software. Simulation was made for constant rotational velocity adjusted to the nominal one of the tested motor. The course of stator currents, currents in rotor bars and in rotor ring and course of motor torque is shown. Finite element

Temperature Field Simulation of Transformer Based on COMSOL Multiphysics [PDF]

open access: possible2020 IEEE International Conference on High Voltage Engineering and Application (ICHVE), 2020
The operating condition of the transformer is very important to the stability of the power supply of the power grid, and its failure has a great impact on the transmission and transformation system. Among them, abnormal winding temperature is one of the main causes of transformer failure. This paper introduces the research history and current status of

Simulation of Electromagnetic Systems by COMSOL Multiphysics

2019
Non-destructive techniques are used widely in the metal industry in order to control the quality of materials. Eddy current testing is one of the most extensively used non-destructive techniques for inspecting electrically conductive materials at very high speeds that does not require any contact between the test piece and the sensor.

Solid-state explosion simulation in COMSOL Multiphysics

Multiphase Systems, 2019
In this work, the propagation of blast waves in a rock mass caused by a short-term load is considered. Such loads are typical in the construction of tunnels and other excavations using blasting. For modeling by the finite element method, the cross-platform software COMSOL Multiphysics 5.4 was used.

Parametrized model of MEMS microphone in comsol multiphysics

2017 14th International Conference The Experience of Designing and Application of CAD Systems in Microelectronics (CADSM), 2017
In this paper we present the parameterized model of MEMS condenser microphone built in Comsol Multiphysics environment. It is based on coupled electromechanic FEM simulation with help of analytical modelling. The model uses set of parameters that describes the structure dimensions and applied loads.

Positive streamer simulation in nanodielectric fluids with Comsol Multiphysics

2018 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Dielectrics (ICD), 2018
In recent decades, it is being studied the effect of adding nanoparticles (NP) to liquid dielectrics such as mineral oil used in power transformers. This mixture is commonly named as nanodielectic fluid (NDF). The results show that the addition of NP to mineral oil can allows to improve the thermal and dielectric performance of the base fluid.
