Reverse concatenated watermark codes
2012 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), 2012In this paper, we introduce an error correction coding scheme, known as reverse concatenated watermark codes for substitution, insertion and deletion channel. This code is obtained by concatenating a distribution transformer with an LDPC code.

Concatenated Nanopore DNA Codes
IEEE Transactions on NanoBioscienceIn nanopore sequencers, single-stranded DNA molecules (or k-mers) enter a small opening in a membrane called a nanopore and modulate the ionic current through the pore, producing a channel output in the form of a noisy piecewise constant signal. An important problem in DNA-based data storage is finding a set of k-mers, i.e.

Decoding of generalized concatenated codes
1989A decoding algorithm for generalized concatenated codes is described which is a modification of the one propsed in [6]. It is shown that the decoding capability is superior and the complexity is less compared to the previous known decoding algorithms for generalized concatenated codes.

Cooperative Concatenated Coding for Wireless Systems
2007 IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2007Cooperative transmission has been of growing interest recently where users take advantage of each other's resources for better overall performance. In this paper, coded cooperation for wireless networks is considered and a novel cooperative concatenated coding strategy is proposed.

Performance of Concatenated Code with LDPC Code and RSC Code
2006 IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2006In this paper, we propose a concatenated code by combining a Recursive Systematic Convolutional (RSC) code with a Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) code. The proposed concatenated code is encoded in parallel by an RSC encoder and an LDPC encoder without interleavers between them.

Cyclic concatenated codes with constacyclic outer codes
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1992Summary: The known construction of cyclic concatenated codes is based on the fact that the inner code is a cyclic minimal code, the outer code is cyclic, and the lengths of the inner and outer codes are relatively prime. Here, it is shown that if the outer code is a suitably chosen constacyclic code the overall concatenated code is always cyclic ...
