Boron‐Doped Nano‐Crystalline Coated Carbon Fibers for Phasic Dopamine Sensing
This uniform coating presents a mix of graphitic and diamond‐like carbon to create a mechanically and electrically robust alternative for the electrochemical detection of dopamine. The electrodes in this work possess the equivalent sensitivity to the state‐of‐the‐art FSCV dopamine detecting electrodes, whilst demonstrating an ability to withstand ...

Space-charge impedance of rf-shielding wires with external ceramic and conducting pipes
We studied the electrostatic field due to a charged-particle beam with uniform particle density propagating inside an rf-shielding cage (rf cage) constructed from evenly spaced conducting wires.

This manuscript describes the cultivation of viable microvessels from cryopreserved human brain tissue. When embedded in hydrogels and cultured in microfluidic devices, these microvessels exhibit complex architectures reminiscent of arterioles and capillaries, can be perfused, and display intact barrier function. Collectively, these results demonstrate

Real‐Time 3D Ultrasound Imaging with an Ultra‐Sparse, Low Power Architecture
This article presents a novel, ultra‐sparse ultrasound architecture that paves the way for wearable real‐time 3D imaging. By integrating a unique convolutional array with chirped data acquisition, the system achieves high‐resolution volumetric scans at a fraction of the power and hardware complexity.

Crystal Engineering of Reticular Materials for Gas‐ and Liquid‐Phase Hydrocarbon Separation
Crystal engineering enables systematic study of structure/function relationships as exemplified by pore engineering of reticular sorbents, including porous coordination networks and covalent organic frameworks. This review assesses such studies applied across the full scope of industrially relevant hydrocarbon separations to provide insight into how ...

Signal and power roll ring testing update [PDF]
The development of the roll ring as a long-life, low-torque alternative to the slip ring is discussed. A roll ring consists of one or more circular flexures captured by their own spring force in the annular space between two concentric conductors or ...

Rainbow Photonic Crystals: Self‐Assembly of Carbohydrate Bottlebrushes Block Copolymers
Full‐color reflective 1D photonic crystals, capable of a tunable, responsive, and reversible color with high repeatability, are created from the self‐assembly of carbohydrate‐based brush block copolymers (BR01‐04). Abstract Tunable and responsive photonic crystal systems are the subject of great research interest owing to their ability to actively ...
