Chitin‐Derived Carbon‐Metal Functional Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Functional carbon materials are synthesized from combination of biopolymer (chitin) and iron precursors. The resultant material exhibits superior surface area and adsorptive properties compared to carbon materials synthesized directly from pure chitin.

Direct Integration of Conductive, Emissive Perovskite Nanocrystals Into Efficient Light‐Emitting Diodes Without Post‐Synthetic Ligand Exchange

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate the direct integration of CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) into optoelectronic devices without post‐synthetic ligand exchange. This is achieved by synthesizing PNCs stabilized by strong‐binding‐energy oleylammonium–bromide pairs instead of oleate ligands. The resultant low ligand density and minimized surface defects enhance charge

The approximations in rough concept lattice and approximable concept lattice

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2017
In a formal context, the lower and upper approximations of an arbitrary set of objects are constructed by object-oriented concepts, attribute-oriented concepts, approximable concepts and weak approximable concepts, respectively. We first define the concept of approximations based on lattice-theoretic operators, and the properties of them are discussed.
