Integrating Economic Theory into Hydropower Project Evaluation: A Conceptual Review
This study examines the ethical implications of Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) in evaluating large-scale hydropower projects, with a particular focus on the challenges posed by traditional utilitarian frameworks. While CBA is widely used for policy decision-making, it often fails to account for distributional equity, particularly among marginalized ...

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.
