The Russian Conduit - Combining Bentall and Ozaki Procedures for Concomitant Ascending Aorta Replacement and Aortic Valve Neocuspidization [PDF]
In aortic valve disease cases, prosthetic valves have been used for valve replacement, however, these prostheses have inherent problems, and their quality in some countries is lower comparing to new-generation models, causing shorter durability.

Objective: We sought to evaluate the outcomes of integrated aortic-valve and ascending-aortic replacement (IR) vs. partial replacement (PR) in patients with bicuspid aortic valve (BAV)-related aortopathy. Methods: We compared long-term mortality ...

Mitral Multifocal Papillary Fibroelastoma in a Patient with Aggressive Fibromatosis
Mitral valve fibroelastoma is a rare condition that can be associated with high morbidity rates due to thrombus formation and resulting embolic events. Causative treatment for affected patients is mitral valve surgery.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the sensitivity of the 2023 American College of Rheumatology (ACR)/EULAR classification criteria for antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) in a real‐world cohort of women diagnosed with primary obstetric APS (oAPS) and to assess their ability to identify patients at risk of future pregnancy complications ...

Partial cardiac autotransplantation with a concomitant mitral valve, aortic valve replacement and tricuspid plasty [PDF]
We describe a case with left atrial volume reduction of a giant left atrium, treated successfully by partial cardiac autotransplantation, concomitant mitral and aortic valve replacement, and tricuspid valve plasty. We obtained good results at the 1-year follow-up.
