‘The Other Parent’: A Critical Policy Analysis of Fatherhood Discourses in the Australian Government's Paid Parental Leave Scheme

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The Australian paid parental leave (PPL) government scheme aims to support working parents through financial assistance and the promotion of gender equality in caregiving responsibilities. Unlocking the Continuous Flow Asymmetric Hydrogenation of Olefins Through the Development of a Non‐Deactivating Immobilized Iridium Catalyst

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
We have developed stable, robust, and reusable heterogeneous metal catalysts for an efficient continuous flow asymmetric hydrogenation (AH) of a variety of olefins, far beyond the typical benchmark AH. The products are produced continuously over long periods of time with high catalytic performance (up to 99% ee).

Host‐Guest Doping Enables Room Temperature Phosphorescence from Triarylboranes

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
While pure triarylboranes show RTP in annealed PMMA films, they do not in crystalline form, contrary to our previous report. However, crystalline host‐guest triarylborane systems show persistent afterglow up to 8 s even at 1 ppb guest loading. Computations identify triplet‐triplet energy transfer as the mechanism governing this efficient RTP.
