Effect of printing parameters in 3D concrete printing: Printing region and support structures [PDF]
Abstract 3D concrete printing can be used to build many complex structures. However, due to its material properties in the fresh state, it is difficult to construct overhanging structures without supports. In order to unleash the true capability of 3D concrete printing, a support structure is required to support any overhanging fresh material, which ...

Experimental exploration of metal cable as reinforcement in 3D printed concrete [PDF]
The Material Deposition Method (MDM) is enjoying increasing attention as an additive method to create concrete mortar structures characterised by a high degree of form-freedom, a lack of geometrical repetition, and automated construction.

Systematic Exploration of 3D Concrete Printing Parameters for Conformal Printing on Sloped Surfaces
A conformal slicing algorithm is developed for robotic 3D concrete printing (3DCP) on sloped surfaces as a first step toward printing slab‐on‐grade foundations on uneven terrain. Systematic experiments quantify the effects of nozzle speed, extrusion rate, and toolpath direction on filament dimension and stability.

A type of thermoelectric ionogels with convertible n‐p thermopowers are demonstrated with Seebeck coefficients ranging from ‐3.61 to +9.74 mV K−1. Thus, thermoelectric gating organic electrochemical transistor is achieved by employing ionogel as thermoelectric modules and ionic dielectrics simultaneously, paving the road to self‐powered, highly ...

Flexoelectricity in Photoconversion: Fundamentals, Materials, and Outlooks
Mechanical bending of a flexible cantilever induces a strain gradient in the photoactive material. The resulting flexoelectric field couples with photovoltaic and photoconductive effects, modulating charge generation, separation, and collection. A comparative analysis of oxide perovskites, halide perovskites, and two‐dimensional materials is presented,
