Creep of Prestressed Lightweight Concrete
PCI Journal, 1966The December 1965 issue of the PCI JOURNAL, Vol. 10, No. 6, pp. 84-90, carried an article by this author on experiences with post-tensioned liftslabs, used on several Los Angeles City School buildings. The article made a brief mention of certain tests carried on to determine shortening of these lift-slabs due to creep.

Concrete creep and shrinkage functions
Building Science, 1967Abstract In this work the current theories of concrete creep are subjected to a comparative analysis and, constituting these theories, creep and shrinkage functions investigated. The author comes to the conclusion that some of these functions are unable to take into consideration several phenomena in case of the decrease or increase in time stresses.

Macro-Synthetic Fibre Reinforced Concrete: Creep and Creep Mechanisms
2016The creep of cracked macro-synthetic fibre reinforced concrete has been investigated in uniaxial tension at five stress levels (30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 %) of the residual uniaxial tensile strength under controlled temperature and relative humidity of 23 ± 1 °C and 65 ± 5 % respectively.

Creep behaviour of geopolymer concrete
This research investigates the creep behaviour of geopolymer concrete. Geopolymer concrete is more sustainable and environmental friendly than the traditional Portland cement concrete, since it utilises industry by-products, like slag and fly ash. The creep behaviour is critical to the long-term performance, such as deflection and cracking, of the ...openaire +1 more source
Creep Deformation Kinetics of Concrete
1981A method based on the rate theory is developed to discribe the total compressive creep deformation, by introducing a relation between the true activation free energy and the time: \(\exp \left\{ {\left( {\text{Q - Q}_\text{0} } \right)/\text{kT}} \right\} = \left( {1 + \text{t/d}} \right)^\text{m}\).
