Concurrent chemoradiotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer
2004In a previous meta-analysis of adjuvant chemotherapy in NSCLC there was a 13% reduction in the risk of death in patients receiving radical radiotherapy. This overview specifically excluded trials in which chemotherapy and radiotherapy were given concurrently (NSCLCCG 1995).

Concurrent chemoradiotherapy for unresectable thymic carcinoma.
Chang Gung medical journal, 2005Thymic carcinoma is a rare anterior mediastinal neoplasm. It is more invasive and has a poorer prognosis than ordinary thymoma. Complete curative resection is frequently impossible to achieve because of extensive invasion or metastasis at diagnosis. The role of systemic chemotherapy and the optimal regimen in thymic carcinoma remain uncertain.

Patient and Treatment Factors in Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy
2016The MACH-NC analysis demonstrated a 6.5 % absolute improvement in 5-year overall survival with concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) over radiotherapy (RT) alone. High-dose cisplatin (100 mg/m2 on days 1, 22, and 43 during RT) was identified as the most effective regimen.
