Charge density wave (CDW) phenomena in monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides, such as NbSe2, present a rich playground for studying coupled electronic and lattice instabilities. Accurately simulating the CDW phase diagram, however, is often computationally demanding when using traditional first-principles methods.
