A field‐driven transition from chiral stripes to an achiral fan state is observed in a tetragonal magnet and linked to a temperature‐dependent rotation of the effective Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction axis. This interplay generates pronounced in‐plane anisotropy and provides a new route for controlling chiral spin textures in noncentrosymmetric ...

Exchange‐Coupled Two‐Dimensional MOFs
Graphene mediates ferromagnetic coupling between two‐dimensional metal‐organic frameworks and cobalt. Fe‐tetracyanobenzene develops a remanent magnetic response whose orientation follows the cobalt magnetization direction and persists up to room temperature, whereas Ni‐TCNB remains only field‐polarized.

NANOTECHNOLOGY IN CONDENSED MATTER PHYSICS – IMPLICATIONS FOR MATERIAL SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING
Objectives: This research investigate the use of nanotechnology in condensed matter physics and become a reality in material science and engineering. It is particularly trying to predict the tensile strength of nanomaterials using machine learning (ML) algorithms. Its aims are to develop predictive models, explore the role of features, and evaluate the

Before there was light: Excited state dynamics in luminescent (nano)materials [PDF]
In this thesis we examine two types of luminescent materials: colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals (also known as quantum dots), and crystals doped with lanthanide ions. These materials convert one color of light to another. By investigating the dynamics

Pressure‐Assisted Dimensional Transformation of 2D Hydrogenated Borophene into 0D Boron Quantum Dots
Hydrogenated borophene (HB) is transformed into distinct boron nanostructures through a solvent‐free thermal process. Under flowing nitrogen, hydrogen escape promotes reconstruction into B2O3 nanoplatelets, whereas hydrogen‐induced pressure under sealed conditions facilitates fragmentation into boron quantum dots.

USe3 is introduced as an actinide van der Waals semiconductor that mirrors the quasi‐one‐dimensional physics of transition‐metal trichalcogenides. Polarization‐resolved Raman spectroscopy on exfoliated flakes maps strong in‐plane phonon anisotropy and strain‐tunable mode shifts.

Icosahedral Geometry in Condensed Matter: A Foundation for Materials Science
Since Frank's 1952 proposal that supercooled liquids exhibit icosahedral local order, the icosahedron has become central to understanding glass formation, nucleation, and metallic alloys. This paper collects the key geometric properties of the icosahedron relevant to condensed matter physics: the invariants V = 12, E = 30, F = 20; the derived ...
