Conditioning Factors in Stroboscopic‐induced Seizures

Epilepsia, 1964
SUMMARYThis study indicates the possibility of conditioned extinction techniques as a therapeutic method in sensory evoked seizures when the patient has a potential extinction mechanism.RÉSUMÉCette étude montre la possibilité de techniques d'extinction conditionnée en tant que méthode thérapeutique, lors de crises provoquées par une stimulation ...

Sum Conditioned Poisson Factorization

2018
We develop an extension to Poisson factorization, to model Multinomial data using a moment parametrization. Our construction is an alternative to the canonical construction of generalized linear models. This is achieved by defining K component Poisson Factorization models and constraining the sum of observation tensors across components.

On a condition of higher order spectra factorization

IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 1999
Summary: This paper presents a necessary and sufficient condition that guarantees that a higher order cumulant spectrum is factorizable in an appropriate product form. This condition provides a way to check whether or not a given higher order spetrum is compatible with the stronger hypothesis of ``white generation'', where the analyzed signal is ...

The Role of Psychological Factors in Dermatologic Conditions

Psychosomatics, 1992
Knowledge about the psychiatric factors affecting dermatologic illness is far from conclusive. Studies in the past decade have strengthened concepts regarding associated psychological factors. Many dermatologic conditions are now considered in the context of genetic predisposition, personality, and biopsychosocial factors.

Necessary and sufficient factors in classical conditioning

The Pavlovian Journal of Biological Science, 1982
The issue of necessary and sufficient factors (pairing-contiguity vs. contingency-correlation) in classical (Pavlovian) excitatory conditioning is examined: first, in terms of definitional (logical) and manipulational requirements of "necessary" and "sufficient"; second, in terms of Boolean logic test models indicating experimental and control ...

[Breastfeeding. Conditioning factors].

Revista de enfermeria (Barcelona, Spain), 2003
To know the prevalence of maternal breastfeeding over distinctive ages of a child's life, in our ward, and to analyze the factors which bear an influence on its start, duration and stop.In our study, we included 549 newborns who were born in and released in good health from the Palamos Hospital between March 1999 and March 2000.
