ABSTRACT Background Pediatric sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of tumors that contribute disproportionately to cancer mortality in children. Although congenital anomalies are among the strongest known risk factors for childhood cancer, the risk of specific sarcoma subtypes among affected individuals has not yet been thoroughly evaluated. Procedure We

Previous studies indicated that the SNARC effect can stably present in numerical cognition, however how the orientation influence the SNARC effect when Arabic numbers were rotated to left or right space remains unclear.

ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

Karakteristik Graf Dengan Sisi Bilangan Fibonacci
Let be a finite subset of Fibonacci numbers set. In this research, we construct a graph where the set of vertices contains integer numbers such that for every , there exist some edge in that satisfies the condition . By applying some properties

Estimating Matrix Condition Numbers [PDF]
In this note we study certain estimators for the condition number of a matrix which, given an $LU$ factorization of a matrix, are easily calculated. The main observations are that the choice of estimator is very norm-dependent, and that although some simple estimators are consistently bad, none is consistently best.

Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.

Condition numbers of random matrices
The author derives upper and lower bounds differing by a constant multiple for the expectation of the condition number of random \(n\times n\) matrices in the \(L_ p\) norm. These bounds have been independently obtained by \textit{A. Edelman} [SIAM J. Matrix Anal. Appl. 9, No. 4, 543-560 (1988; Zbl 0678.15019)] and \textit{E.

ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.
