Analysis of bridge condition on state network in Slovenia [PDF]

open access: yesGrađevinar, 2014
During operation, bridge condition is decreasingdue to various effects. The condition is described by "condition rating coefficient", determined byvisual assessment. Condition of Slovenian state road bridge network is analyzed.

Development of Korea Airport Pavement Condition Index for Panel Rating

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
Airports strive to prevent safety issues, such as foreign object debris (FOD), by pavement management using the pavement condition index (PCI). The index is used in decision-making processes for overall pavement maintenance and repair, such as the ...

MATCHING AND CONDITIONED REINFORCEMENT RATE [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, 2006
Attempts to examine the effects of variations in relative conditioned reinforcement rate on choice have been confounded by changes in rates of primary reinforcement or changes in the value of the conditioned reinforcer. To avoid these problems, this experiment used concurrent observing responses to examine sensitivity of choice to relative conditioned ...

Comparison of Rating Systems for Alberta Rock Slopes, and Assessment of Applicability for Geotechnical Asset Management

open access: yesGeosciences, 2023
In 1999, Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors (TEC) implemented the Geohazard Risk Management Program (GRMP) to identify, assess, monitor, and prioritize the mitigation of risk resulting from geohazard events at specific sites along the ...

Conditioned inhibition and reinforcement rate. [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Psychology: Animal Learning and Cognition, 2014
We investigated conditioned inhibition in a magazine approach paradigm. Rats were trained on a feature negative discrimination between an auditory conditioned stimulus (CS) reinforced at one rate versus a compound of that CS and a visual stimulus (L) reinforced at a lower rate. This training established L as a conditioned inhibitor.

Condition Assessment Framework for Facility Management Based on Fuzzy Sets Theory

open access: yesBuildings, 2021
Condition information is essential to develop effective facility management (FM) strategies. Visual inspections and walk-through surveys are common practices of condition assessment (CA), generally resulting in qualitative and subjective outcomes such as
