Conditioned invariant and locally conditioned invariant distributions

Systems & Control Letters, 1986
A nonlinear system \(\overset\circ x=f(x,u,v)\), \(y=h(x)\), \(z=k(x)\) on a manifold M is considered. The linear concept of (C,A) (or conditioned) invariant subspace is generalized to the definitions of (h,f) invariant and locally (h,f) invariant distribution D. The two definitions coincide on an open subset of M. They are used to solve the problem of

Localized Distributivity Conditions

1995
Various conditions have been used in lieu of full two-sided distributivity to obtain structure theory for near-rings, most successful and most widely known being the distributively generated condition, but also including a plethora of other conditions, some being quite exotic.

Distribution of Character Conditions

1985
An extensive study of this topic in the monocotyledons has recently appeared (Dahlgren and Clifford 1982). Further Dahlgren and Rasmussen (1983) have made an assessment of which character states are ancestral and which derived in different groups of monocotyledons.

Distribution and conditional expectation

2017
Following the same spirit as in the previous chapter, we continue to explore the implications of applying the results from measure theory to the field of probability theory. This chapter introduces in particular concepts that will be key later to studying various stochastic processes.
